Motorbike Tour from Hanoi - Iti #4

Hanoi - Mai Chau - Pu Luong - Tam Coc - Hanoi (3 Days)

The 3-day Vietnam by motorbike is customized for different riders including both experienced riders and family holidays. The bikes we use for this guided bike tours are scooters and Honda road bikes. Begin your motorcycle adventures from Hanoi, you ride to Mai Chau village where you spend a night at local home (homestay). The following day, you continue riding motorbike through Pu Luong Nature Reserve where you meet up with Muong and Thai ethnic groups. The bike tour ends up with another ride to Tam Coc, “halong bay in-land”. Enjoy the Tam Coc sampan trip before you take your bike travelling back to Hanoi.

Day 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau

You will be met up with our tour guide and transferred by taxi to the outskirt of Hanoi. Then you start your adventure leaving the busy city behind. After an hour, your adventure brings you to spectacular view of hilly countryside road to Mai Chau in Hoa Binh province. Some stops will be made on the way for pictures and tea/coffee. Arrive in Mai Chau at noon. Check into a local stilt house and seat down for lunch (optional). After lunch (optional), enjoy a short walk to see the village and enjoy the countryside of this charming valley. Dinner and enjoy the Local Musical performance (optional) by Girls and Boys in the village. Spend the night in a local Thai‘s stilt house (homestay).

Day 2: Mai Chau – Pu Luong – Tam Coc

After breakfast, provided at the local home, you will start your bike ride to Co Luong. Enjoy the scenery of the Nature Reserve area while riding and meet up with locals with their hospitality on the way. You continue riding along the beautiful Ma River with countryside view. In the afternoon you ride on nice high way before arriving in Tam Coc. Check into a local hotel. Dinner will be provided either at hotel or in a local restaurant in town. Overnight in Tam Coc at hotel.

Day 3: Tam Coc – Hanoi.

Breakfast at hotel. Enjoy the two-hour boat trip to see Tam Coc that means ”three lakes” and is called ” Halong Bay on land ”, really amazing with the rocky mountains, and you will be completely dazzle when paddling through the green paddy fields on two sides of the lakes and more interesting to go through three caves. It takes about 2 and a half hour to discover the beauty of the nature here before getting off boat to visit an old temple (Thaivi Temples), That is located on a nice scenery and more interesting to know about its history. After the boat trip, you may want to ride on a backroads to Hoa Lu temples where you stop for a short visit before riding back to Hanoi.
